30 min from Furnace Creek, it is a short hiking trail near Badwater. You will see the bridge at the end of the trail. The view is pretty good looking at Badwater.
8. Devil’s Golf Course (36.285638,-116.826285)
25 min from Furnace Creek, a large piece of tough, hard salty land, difficult to photograph as everything is flat. Maybe bring a closeup lens for some details.
9. Ubehebe Crater (37.011034,-117.454775)
1 hr 40 min from Furnace Creek on your way to The Racetrack, your will see this huge crater.
10. Rhyolite Ghost Town (36.900931,-116.829193)
1 hr and 10 min from Furnace Creek, very close to Beatty. This is the largest ghost town in Death Valley area.
11. Devil’s Cornfield (36.601031,-117.095686)
Next to Mesquite Flat Dunes, not very impressive.
12. Scotty’s Castle (37.03164,-117.340572)
1 hr 30 min from Furnace Creek, not very impressive.

When to go?
Spring (March-April) and Fall (October) are the best; Winter is OK if you can stand the wind and cold; Summer is going to be too hot with temperature reaching 120F during the day.
